Privacy Policy
This policy covers Nous Space at nous.minddragonlabs.com, operated by Jefferson Nunn. It describes the dashboard and its optional Google sign-in and forum features.
You can read the dashboard without signing in. Google sign-in identifies you when you post forum comments. Your display name and comments are public. Do not post private information.
Information the site handles
- Google sign-in: When enabled and used, Google provides an identity token. The server verifies it with Google and reads your account identifier, display name, email address, and email verification status. These fields establish your session. Nous Space does not receive your Google password or request access to Gmail, Drive, contacts, or calendar data.
- Forum comments: The site stores your display name, comment text, posting time, comment identifier, and associated issue or pull request. Comments are visible to other visitors. The comment record does not include your Google email address or account identifier.
- Technical data: Hosting and delivery services process requests, including IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, and timestamps. The forum uses a keyed hash of your IP address and hourly counters to limit spam. A hashed IP address is not necessarily anonymous.
- Public GitHub data: The dashboard displays public repository activity, usernames, avatars, issues, pull requests, and discussions.
How this information is used
The site uses this information to display repository activity, verify sign-in, maintain sessions, publish comments, prevent abuse, and operate the service. The current application does not include advertising trackers or an analytics SDK.
Cookies and browser storage
After sign-in, Nous Space sets a nous_session cookie containing signed account and session data. The cookie lasts up to 14 days. It uses Secure, HttpOnly, and SameSite protections. Signing out clears this cookie; you can also remove it through your browser settings. Signing out does not remove published comments.
The homepage loads Google's sign-in library. Google may receive technical request data even before you sign in, and may use cookies or browser storage under its own policy. This privacy page does not load that library.
Service providers and public content
Vercel hosts the site and processes server requests. Vercel Blob stores forum comments and abuse-prevention counters. Google processes sign-in. Your browser also connects to GitHub for discussions and avatars, and to Hugeicons for dashboard icons. These providers may process information on servers outside your country.
Provider policies: Vercel, Google, and GitHub. External links and third-party services have their own practices.
Published comments and display names can be read, copied, or indexed by others. Your email address is not included in the site's public comment responses.
Retention and your choices
Session cookies expire after up to 14 days. Forum comments remain until removed; the current application has no automatic deletion schedule for comments or rate-limit records. Infrastructure logs and backups follow provider settings and retention practices.
You can browse without signing in, sign out, clear cookies, or manage the app's connection in your Google Account. Removing Google's connection does not automatically remove a Nous Space session cookie or existing comments.
To request access, correction, or deletion of information held by Nous Space, email jefferson@heimdallstrategy.com. Include the relevant page and comment details, but do not send passwords or tokens. We may need to verify that the request concerns your information. Applicable law may provide additional privacy rights. Copies made by others are outside the site's control.
